The Story of Sadi

Vision

Goals

To build a Bangladesh free from poverty and systemic barriers, where every individual can realize their full potential and lead a life of dignity and opportunity.

Empowering marginalized communities in Bangladesh by advancing access to education, fostering entrepreneurship, and delivering impactful social welfare programs.

If we think of a person who was curious, kind, and full of purpose, we think of Shadiul, also known as Sadi by his loved ones. A financial analyst by profession, he was a lifelong learner in every sense, deeply engaged in understanding all aspects of life.

He found joy in maintaining a healthy, well-rounded lifestyle — one that reflected his appreciation for balance, growth, and meaningful connection. This included cooking and sharing meals with loved ones, working out to challenge his physical limits, reading to stay informed and curious, playing sports with children, and enjoying thoughtful games of chess with his peers. Most of all, he cherished deep, meaningful conversations that stirred both mind and heart.

Sadi left his family with countless memories of these moments and each a reflection of the vibrant, intentional life he lived, and the love he shared so freely.

His passion for travel stemmed from a genuine desire to connect with and learn from lives different from his own. He lived to uplift others with quiet strength, a warm smile, and an open heart.

He believed that with the right guidance and opportunity, anyone can reach their full potential.

SADI (Social Actions for Development & Inclusion) carries his spirit forward, transforming his compassion, resilience, and perseverance into purposeful action for those too often left behind. Every smile we are able to bring is a reminder that Sadi lives on within us, and among the many lives positively impacted by the legacy of his hard-earned efforts.

Mission

Find those who are in critical need and provide support in a way that will have a long-term effect on their lives. The primary focus groups are highly potential students transitioning from higher secondary school to undergraduate programs, infants (6–18 months old), terminally ill and handicapped individuals who need food assistance, and communities where tube wells are built and trees are planted.

"Per aspera ad astra"

Through hardships to the stars.
